Must Read Vitamins and Minerals To Be Banned

From time to time, an issue comes along that is so important that we have to devote a newsletter to it, in preference to promoting our products for our short term interest. This is one of those times.

The banning, within months of something as innocuous as vitamins and minerals. Seems incredible doesn't it? Would and could the EU really ban most vitamins and minerals from being available in meaningful dosages? Is something as surreal as this really happening? Unfortunately the answer is yes, and it is very likely under the soon to be finalised EU regulations, and things are not looking good at all.

All this despite the fact that there was not even one death caused by a dietary supplement in 2008, according to the most recent information collected by the U.S. National Poison Data System. The new 174-page annual report of the American Association of Poison Control Centers, published in the journal Clinical Toxicology, shows zero deaths from multiple vitamins; zero deaths from any of the B vitamins; zero deaths from vitamins A, C, D, or E; and zero deaths from any other vitamin.

(It is conservatively estimated that around 200,000 Americans and 40,000 Brits die every year from the use of correctly prescribed conventional medications).

Yet the EU do not seem to be interested in these facts. Read full newsletter here:

What is Sustainable Energy?

With so much in the news of late about the changing climate and our part in making that happen, many people are looking for ways to change that pattern. We are looking for sustainable energy sources that we can implement today.
You've heard the term, but what exactly do they mean when they talk about sustainable sources of energy? Well, in a nutshell, it means an energy source that won't run out, ever.
We've heard that the supply of oil that we use for most of our energy needs is dwindling. We need to find a cleaner alternative that will last forever.
Two of the most common, and promising, are solar power and wind power.
Solar power is generated by using panels that will absorb the sunlight and convert it into electricity.
Wind power uses wind turbines to gather the energy of the wind and convert that into electricity.
Both of these sources show a lot of promise even for household use. And both sources have their pros and cons.
Solar energy would work better in some areas than others. Obviously any region that has extended periods of sunny days would be a good candidate for solar power. The downside is that it won't generate any electricity when the sun goes down.

There is virtually no where on Earth that doesn't get wind at some time. The downside to this form of energy is that you need a wind turbine to generate electricity which can take up quite a bit of space.
The point is that even with today's technology there are still advances to be made in sustainable energy sources. But we have come far enough that it makes sense to start utilizing these sources right now. We can save ourselves some money not to mention saving a little thing called Earth.
