Must Read Vitamins and Minerals To Be Banned

From time to time, an issue comes along that is so important that we have to devote a newsletter to it, in preference to promoting our products for our short term interest. This is one of those times.

The banning, within months of something as innocuous as vitamins and minerals. Seems incredible doesn't it? Would and could the EU really ban most vitamins and minerals from being available in meaningful dosages? Is something as surreal as this really happening? Unfortunately the answer is yes, and it is very likely under the soon to be finalised EU regulations, and things are not looking good at all.

All this despite the fact that there was not even one death caused by a dietary supplement in 2008, according to the most recent information collected by the U.S. National Poison Data System. The new 174-page annual report of the American Association of Poison Control Centers, published in the journal Clinical Toxicology, shows zero deaths from multiple vitamins; zero deaths from any of the B vitamins; zero deaths from vitamins A, C, D, or E; and zero deaths from any other vitamin.

(It is conservatively estimated that around 200,000 Americans and 40,000 Brits die every year from the use of correctly prescribed conventional medications).

Yet the EU do not seem to be interested in these facts. Read full newsletter here:

Study: Vitamin D Supplements May Help Prevent Arterial Stiffness in Black Teens

As the human body ages, flexible tissue fiber known as elastin begins to break down from years of continuous physical stress. This gradual breakdown has a number of adverse effects on the overall health and appearance of the body. Externally, as skin loses its elastin, wrinkles begin to appear. Internally, similar but more serious changes such as arteriosclerosis or “arterial stiffness” also begin to occur.

As the skin depends on elastin to remain taut yet flexible, so do the walls of the vascular system that makes up the human circulatory system. Without the proper amount of healthy elastin present, the arteries stiffen, and become increasingly unable to cope with the internal pressure they are meant to handle. Over time, this leads to damage not only of the vascular system itself, but also to the organs to which it supplies.

In an effort to better understand the connection between vitamin D and arterial stiffness, researchers at the Medical College of Georgia in Atlanta tested the effects of Vitamin D supplementation on 44 black teenagers. All of whom, as a population in general, are considered to be at increased risk for the condition than other ethnic groups.

The teens participating in the study were divided into two groups. One received the current daily recommendation of 400 international units (IU) of vitamin D as set by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Board. The other group of teens were given an experimental dosage five times that size, or 2,000 IU per day.

Both groups were closely monitored for a 16-week period, during which time the arterial stiffness of the participants was measured using a non-invasive technique known as “pulse wave velocity” that tracks the time sound waves take to travel a given distance within the arterial tract.

While all participants in the experimental 2,000 UI group were found to be fully vitamin D sufficient and exhibited relatively normal arterial elasticity for their age range, results in the control group were less encouraging.

The researchers found that, despite being exposed to more than adequate levels of sunshine and receiving the recommended daily allowance of vitamin D, most of the teens in the 400 IU control group still showed signs of premature arterial stiffness, leaving them at increased risk for future health concerns.

These findings, along with the numerous other health benefits associated with maintaining sufficient levels of vitamin D, make a strong case for dietary supplementation. Even for those who get plenty of sun exposure and regularly consume foods high in vitamin d.

Vitamin D3 Supplement

Vitamin D supplements are affordable and readily available. While they can be bought at almost any grocery store or pharmacy, finding a quality vitamin D supplement isn’t always so easy.

If you’re serious about supplementing your health, then you should consider trying D3 Serum. It is hands down one of the highest quality live-sourced vitamin D supplements ever produced. Not only is it all-natural and free of toxic preservatives, it’s also much easier for the human body to absorb and utilize than other supplements. And that means you really are getting all the vitamin D you pay for.

10 Natural Remedies for the Flu

As we enter into the flu season, chances are that many people will experience the pesky effects of a cold or flu. Highly contagious, colds are the name we give for over 100 mild viral influenza forms floating in the air, on surfaces and in our bodies. There are many natural ways to both prevent and reduce the symptoms of the common cold and raise your immunity during this vulnerable season. If you follow these recommendations, chances are your flu catching ability may be prevented, wont last as long, or be quite so severe.

Flu Remedy - Vitamin D

Boosting up on Vitamin D helps to prevent colds and flu. This may be related to the necessary role this vitamin plays in the protection and lubrication of many of the body’s principle organ systems. It also boosts cellular growth and immune cell activity, and lowers the inflammatory response. I recommend 15 minutes daily of natural sunlight, consuming more foods with vitamin d and possibly taking a vitamin D3 supplement.

Flu Remedy - Vitamin C

If you have had a lingering cold that just wont go away, chances are you are not getting enough vitamin C. A powerful support for the common cold, you can take up to 2000mg four times daily. Fresh squeezed lemon is also a good way to naturally supplement vitamin C levels. The benefits of drinking lemon juice mixed in water go beyond the naturally occurring vitamin C. Lemons aid the body in purifying the lymphatic system, which is a crucial component of fighting off colds. Squeeze ½ lemon in one cup of purified warm water and drink 3 or more times daily. For particularly mucous-ridden colds, you can add black pepper and fresh or powdered ginger.

Double blind studies have shown that zinc reduces both the intensity and the duration of the common cold by up to 50%. I personally take a zinc supplement when I want a strong anti-viral response. Zinc Orotates increase lysosome activity, which attacks viruses and has been an effective immune booster for the flu by lowering the viral load. Try taking a zinc supplement.

Flu Remedy - Oregano Oil

An extremely potent anti-bacterial and anti-microbial agent that relieves congestion and inflammation. I recommend about 9 drops of organic oregano oil taken internally in a capsule after meals on a full stomach.

Flu Remedy - Turmeric

An amazing herbal remedy, turmeric is a strong antimicrobial that helps push out out bacterial and viral infections. You can purchase in capsule forms, or you can buy the herb fresh or dried. For a cold-fighting tea, place a ¼ tsp. in hot purified water and drink often. This herbal jewel also helps ease sore throats. For a throat-coat for comfort, place 1/2 tsp. of turmeric in 2 tablespoons of raw honey and let seep down the throat.

Another great flu remedy is Germanium-132. I recommend taking about 600mg daily. The best source is available at: JARROW Formulas Germanium Ge-132 100 mg. – 60 Capsules. I would also suggest googling “Organic Germanium-132? to discover more benefits, but I would definitely recommend reading this article about Germanium-132 for attacking viruses.

Flu Remedy - Echinacea

An immune booster, this herb is a strong anti-viral and anti-bacterial agent. It is also a potent blood purifier, and overly-toxic blood may lead to flu and cold responses. Echinecea has also been shown to increase immune-boosting white blood cell counts in the body. If you have a cold, take 3 droppers full of tincture in warm water or drink as a tea.

Apple Cider Vinegar

A well-known natural healing agent, Apple Cider Vinegar is a good herb to take with a cold. Drink a mixture of 1/2 cup of purified water with 2 teaspoons of organic raw apple cider vinegar 3 times daily until symptoms disappear. After consuming, drink some more water to rinse the acid of the teeth. You can also sprinkle a little on your pillow before going to bed to breathe in the fumes while you sleep. I recommend Braggs apple cider vinegar, but any brand that still has “the mother” will work well.

Flu Remedy - Iodine

“In 1945, J.D. Stone and Sir McFarland Burnet (who later went on to win a Nobel Prize for his Clonal Selection Theory) exposed mice to lethal amounts of influenza viral mists. The lethal disease was prevented by putting iodine solution on mice snouts just prior to placing them in chambers containing influenza viruses.” I recommend 3 drops 2x daily of Detoxadine until symptoms diminish. Learn more about the different types of iodine supplements.

Many types of Silver are available. GHC has a limited supply of Silver Fuzion, but you can also find good sources online. The only three I would recommend are – Silver Fuzion, Utopia Silver and MesoSilver.

Things to avoid while fighting the Flu:

You should try to avoid the following list of foods – Milk and dairy, alcohol, coffee, animal meat or products, microwaved food or beverages, sugar, artificial sweeteners, white flour

My Personal Note

I would avoid flu vaccines like the plague. Most people do not know this but it is scientifically impossible to create a flu vaccine due to the fact that influenza has a different genetic pattern each time it replicates and is different every year. Each years flu vaccine is created from the previous year. Basically this means that the flu vaccine is nothing more than a money generating toxic injection.

Study: Taking Multivitamins & Calcium Supplements May Reduce Breast Cancer Risk

Woman Smiling

A recently published study by researchers at the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico shows that dietary supplementation of calcium and other vitamins may significantly reduce the risk of women developing breast cancer. If the researchers are correct, this seemingly simple information could help save countless women from the potentially disfiguring and deadly disease.

By comparing the case histories of 268 women with documented malignant breast tumors with those of 457 healthy, unaffected controls, the research team was able to calculate a potential 30 percent reduction in cancer rates with proper supplementation.

We might not often think of it as such, but technically speaking, the mineral calcium is an alkaline earth metal. In fact it’s one of the most abundant metals on the planet. It’s also a necessary component of the cellular physiology of virtually every complex organism know to man. Without it, the intracellular communication required for countless biological processes would be severely hampered or altogether impossible.

According to Dr. Jamie Matta, head of the research team responsible for the study, their findings relating to calcium’s role in reducing the risk of breast cancer most likely stem from it’s ability to help facilitate the complex process of DNA repair within the human body. More than 200 unique proteins are required to properly maintain the integrity of these genetic repair processes, and unless these proteins are readily available, unfortunate changes can occur within the body. While these changes may be minor at first, over time, they can snowball into malignancies such as breast and other forms of life threatening cancer.

The combination of a standalone dietary calcium supplement along with a quality multivitamin is a great way to ensure that your body has all the minerals and nutrients it needs to maintain itself.

There are many different types of calcium and multivitamins on the market. Choosing the most effective supplement is important, but may also be tough to do.

In my opinion, IntraCal is one of the finest, most easily absorbed calcium supplements available anywhere in the world. IntraCal is a specially engineered form of Calcium Orotate and Magnesium Orotate that is able to quickly penetrate cell walls before being flushed away and wasted. When taken with a quality multivitamin, such as IntraMax, you can maintain proper cellular health.

Researchers also stress the importance of proper dietary nutrition as a preventative measure against the formation of breast cancer. A diet rich in assorted organic fruits and vegetables, as well as healthy oils such as organic olive oil, raw coconut oil and flaxseed oil can make a huge difference in the human body’s ability to maintain health at the genetic level. And don’t forget to consume calcium-rich foods for added health benefits.

Call to Action: Why We Should Fight S.510, The Food Safety Bill

This morning, I was emailed an article from NaturalNews.com that discusses Senate Bill 510, and why we should be concerned with it.

Nicknamed the “Food Tyranny Bill,” the language in S.510 is very concerning to me, and should be to you as well. Not only will this bill raise the cost of food prices for the average consumer, it will also end food freedom in America.

Take a more in-depth look at the bill on the link below, as nobody can explain it better than Mike Adams.

Here’s another passage from Democracy Inaction that I believe explains the situation pretty well.

“S.510: Hidden in House Amendment to Senate Amendment to House Bill! HR 3082 now hides S 510! The House passed it by 212 to 205 – without a single Republican vote! It is buried in the 423 pages of the Continuing Resolution which provides government funding for the next fiscal year – a “MUST PASS” bill. But the S.510 amendment can be removed by the Senate before the bill is passed. ” [1]

Call Your Representatives
The first thing you can do to fight S.510, is to call your representatives in both the House and the Senate and express your dislike for the way this bill was slipped into HR 3082. You can call the main switchboard at the Capitol, and ask for your representative by name — 202.224.3121.

Write Your Representatives
Or, if you would prefer, you can write to your Representative in the House and Senate. You can do this by clicking on the links below.

House — http://writerep.house.gov/writerep/welcome.shtmlSenate — http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm

Sign This Petition
On top of contacting your House and Senate representatives, I would encourage you to sign the petition located at the bottom of this link — http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/568/p/dia/action/public/?action_KEY=5303

The time to act is now. Please share this on Twitter and Facebook, email it to your friends and family. Anything you can do to fight S.510 would be a great step to ensuring our freedoms.

New Report: BPA Commonly Found on U.S. Money

According to a report recently released by the Washington-based group Safer Chemicals, a pro environmental lobby made up of green businesses, health care advocates, and citizen activist groups showed BPA contamination of the U.S. paper money supply.

Bisphenol-A, the infamous chemical that has been banned from baby bottles in Europe and Canada, is a well known component of the thermal-printed receipts most people stick in our wallets or purses after shopping. This constant proximity has allowed trace amounts of the compound to permanently leach into circulating dollars, and ultimately, onto our unsuspecting hands.

Researchers tested reciepts and dollar bills from twenty states, as well as Washington D.C., to see if BPA is found. They found high amounts of BPA on 11 of the 22 reciepts. They also found BPA on 21 of the 22 dollar bills tested!

The American Chemistry Council argues that the amount of BPA measured on U.S. currency was physiologically insignificant. And to some extent, they are correct.

The small amount of BPA found on paper money is of comparatively little concern when stacked against other sources, such as plastic food packaging and thermal receipts. But according to researchers, the real reason these findings should have us worried is they showcase the compound’s ability to soak into porous material like paper, or as other studies suggest, skin.

Ericka Schreder, scientist and lead author of the report: “Our findings demonstrate that BPA cannot be avoided, even by the most conscious consumer. This unregulated use of large amounts of BPA is having unintended consequences, including exposure to people when we touch receipts.” [1]

Since the late 1950s, Bisphenol-A has been used widely in the manufacturing of certain types of plastics and epoxy resins. As of a few years ago, global production exceeded 2 million tons annually.

The vast majority of this was used in the creation of polycarbonate plastic – the clear, durable plastic commonly used in everyday items ranging from eyeglasses and DVDs, to dental fillings, and of course, baby and water bottles.

Scientists have been aware of BPAs potential risk since shortly after it was developed in the 1930s. Over the decades, particularly the last two, the substance has come under increasing scrutiny due to its possible hormone and neuro-chemical disturbing effects on humans. BPA has been linked to a wide range of increasingly common health concerns, including early onset of puberty, mental instability and depression, diabetes, and several forms of cancer.

The real problem with Bisphenol-A is not its damaging effects on the human body, but rather its ubiquity. Despite a growing trend in recent years among North American and European manufacturers to develop BPA-free products, the compound is still found practically anywhere you turn your head.

Andy Igrejas, Director of the Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families coalition: “BPA on receipts, dollar bills, and in many other products, is a direct result of the absurdly lax controls on chemicals in the United States. The 112th Congress should make reform of the failed 1976 Toxic Substances Control Act a top legislative priority to protect American families for generations to come.” [2]

Considering one of the compound’s historic selling-points is its ability to make plastics stronger and longer lasting, this probably isn’t going to change any time soon. Until global regulatory measures are in place, making better consumer choices is probably the quickest route to reducing BPA exposure.
